01Do I need a Claude subscription?
Yes. Preznt uses the MCP protocol to connect with Claude Desktop (or any MCP-compatible AI). You provide the AI, we provide the presentation tools. This means you never pay for AI tokens twice.
02What export formats do you support?
We export real .pptx files that open natively in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides. We also render PDFs server-side at 1920x1080. No card-style exports, no screenshots.
03How is this different from Gamma or Beautiful.ai?
Most AI presentation tools bundle AI into their pricing ($8-12/mo) and use their own models. Preznt is $5/mo and uses your existing Claude subscription via MCP — you bring the AI you already pay for. We also export native PPTX files and give you 15 themes with 33 hand-crafted layouts.
04Can I use ChatGPT instead of Claude?
Preznt works with any AI that supports the MCP protocol. Claude Desktop is the primary integration today, with more coming soon.
05Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan lets you create 1 presentation with up to 15 slides and 3 themes. No credit card required.
06Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Downgrade or cancel from your account settings in one click.
07What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
Your presentations are kept safe. On the free plan you can still view and edit your first presentation. Paid features like exports and MCP access are paused until you re-subscribe. No data is ever deleted.
08Is my data secure?
Yes. MCP keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes, all traffic uses HTTPS, and we never access your AI conversations. Your prompts stay between you and Claude. See our Privacy Policy for details.
09How long does it take to create a presentation?
Most users go from idea to finished deck in under 2 minutes. Describe what you need to Claude, and Preznt builds the slides instantly. You can then polish in the web editor.
10Is MCP setup difficult? I'm not very technical.
Not at all. You copy one key from your Preznt dashboard and paste it into Claude Desktop settings. It takes about 90 seconds, and you only do it once. We have a step-by-step guide.
11Can I collaborate with my team in real-time?
The Team plan includes a shared presentation library and brand kit. Real-time collaborative editing is on our roadmap for Q3 2026.
