1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture via Clerk authentication. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Presentation data: Slide content, themes, and media URLs you create are stored in our database. Speaker notes and slide text are stored as structured data, not as files.

Payment information: Billing is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never see or store credit card numbers.

MCP keys: We store a one-way SHA-256 hash of your MCP API key. The raw key is shown once at creation and never stored.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Preznt service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process subscription payments via Stripe
  • Enforce plan limits (presentation and slide counts)
  • Generate shared presentation links when you choose to share

3. BYOB Model — What We Do NOT Collect

Preznt uses a Bring-Your-Own-Brain (BYOB) model. We never access, store, or process your AI conversations. When you use Claude Desktop to generate presentations, that conversation happens entirely between you and Anthropic. Our MCP server only receives structured tool calls (create slide, set content, etc.) — never your prompts or Claude's reasoning.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Clerk — for authentication
  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Supabase — for database hosting (your data is encrypted at rest)
  • Vercel / Railway — for application hosting

5. Data Retention

Your presentations and account data are retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. Shared presentation links become inaccessible immediately upon deletion.

6. Security

MCP API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. All connections use HTTPS/TLS. Database access is restricted to application services. We validate all image URLs to prevent SSRF attacks (no localhost or private IP access).

7. Your Rights

You can:

  • Export your presentations as PPTX or PDF at any time
  • Delete individual presentations or your entire account
  • Revoke MCP API keys immediately from Settings
  • Request a copy of your data by contacting support@preznt.online
