Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Preznt (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Preznt is a presentation platform that provides structured tools, themed slide rendering, and a web editor. The Service integrates with AI assistants (such as Claude Desktop) via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Preznt does not host, run, or bill for any AI model — you bring your own AI subscription.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and MCP API keys. You must not share MCP keys with unauthorized parties.

4. Plans and Payment

The Service offers Free, Solo, Pro, and Team plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan and MCP keys are revoked.

Plan limits (presentation count, slide count, feature access) are enforced automatically. Attempting to circumvent plan limits is a violation of these Terms.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all presentation content you create. By using the Service, you grant Preznt a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service (including generating exports and rendering shared links).

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, or contain harmful material.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to inject code via slide content
  • Attempt to access other users' presentations or data
  • Create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Overload the Service with automated requests beyond reasonable use

7. MCP Integration

When you connect Preznt to an AI assistant via MCP, the AI assistant calls Preznt's tools to create and modify presentations. Preznt only processes structured tool calls — we do not access your AI conversations, prompts, or model outputs beyond what is sent as tool parameters.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Preznt is not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
